Our client is an award winning, travel business, specialising in escorted holidays. An exciting opportunity has arisen within their operations department for a switched-on, highly driven Operations and Tour Manager to be based at their Head Office in Norfolk.
The responsibilities of the Operations Manager are:
- Coordinate the day-to-day workload of the operations team, ensuring that all pre departures paperwork for guests is accurate, all services are booked, and tour manager notes are sent in a timely manner.
- Responsible for allocating tour managers to all planned holidays, requiring them to work in an agile and flexible fashion.
- Managing a team of 6 to deliver the best communications and tour preparation to all our core partners who deliver our front-line service.
- Continually review and improve partners communications and operational delivery.
- Take the lead in managing any operational issues on tour.
- Liaise closely with product & after sales to understand what is expected on each holiday.
- Work closely with customer services and review all guest feedback and take action on any issues whether its immediate or for the future.
- Ensure the Tour Manager has the most accurate and up to date documents.
- Working closely with all departments to ensure the communication and documentation for all our partners is the best it can be.
