Our client has a fantastic opportunity to an Operations Manager to step into an interim contract for a fire and security company.

This opportunity has a chance of the contract extending in to a fulltime position.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for:

• Fire door/fire stopping.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Help the contracts manager to organise the sub-contractors.
• Implement and optimise operational policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with various departments to streamline processes.
• Monitor and enhance efficiency in resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Manage inventory levels and logistics for seamless operations.
• Oversee workshop for the production of doors.
• Assess and improve internal communication channels.
• Analyse data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards – FIRAS
• Drive initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.
• Monitor contract profitability and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with other Fire Division companies to supply additional required services, e.g. extinguishers or fire alarms.
• Produce RAMS for projects.
