Reed is delighted to be working with our client on a fantastic opportunity for an Adult Service Lead to be the Registered Manager of 2 services! Role: Operations Manager / Adult Services LeadLocation: Linlithgow
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time (35 hours) - Monday to Friday
Salary: £39,471 per annum
The role is diverse and varied, with no 2 days being the same. Some of the key responsibilities you will have will be:
- Ensure the safe and effective operations of Adult Services
- Ensuring trainee voices are heard
- Ensuring approaches taken are person centred
- Ensure high standards of compliance with internal and external policy
- Lead, develop and manage the staff team
- Take responsibility for risk management and safeguarding
- Support the growth of adult services across the area
- Responsible for control of the budget alongside finance colleagues

You must meet the below criteria to be apply for the role:
- Qualified for registered manager status, with current SSSC (or equivalent) Management Registration
- Experience of managing and developing registered services
- Experience of supporting people with additional support needs in a person-centred and outcome-focused way
- Evidenced ability to lead, manage and develop effective teams
- Experience of working to quality frameworks, strong approach to performance management and improvement with the ability to define measures of success
- Have a sound knowledge and experience of safeguarding and adult protection
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Health and Social Care Standards, SSSC Codes of Practice and Care Inspectorate requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of best practice in supporting neurodivergent individuals and those with intellectual disabilities
- Ability to manage and monitor budgets
