Operations Manager - Aerospace

Are you an experienced Manager looking for a new opportunity in the Aerospace industry? Our client, a global aviation fleet solutions and support specialist, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as an Operations Manager in Datchet.
At our client's organisation, you'll have the chance to work with a global network of companies that are dedicated to solving the most challenging aviation fleet, parts, and maintenance problems. As the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of 6 individuals, overseeing day-to-day operations, driving business strategy, and implementing operational improvements.
What you'll do:
Lead the company in day-to-day operations and functional execution.
Oversee the execution of multiple client projects, collaborating with clients on project initiation, trajectory, and closure.
Acquire and retain clients, strengthen relationships with existing clients.
Assess client aviation needs, develop relationships, secure project orders, and deliver solutions.
Provide directive input on sales, procurement, shipping, and HR decisions.
Execute strategic business investments.
Who you'll work with:
Lead the HR, sales, procurement, shipping, and packaging teams, managing external IT teams.
Collaborate with international company leaders across multiple countries on strategic decision-making, project collaboration, and leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or graduate degree in engineering, STEM, or management.
4+ years of work experience.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
Aerospace or defence experience preferable.
Ability to lead a team and foster an inclusive environment.
Strong time-management skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Comfort with ambiguous and ever-changing situations.
