Fantastic opportunity for a Transport operator with a strong management background gained in a fast-paced environment, to join a leading 3PL at their site.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing this busy facility on a day-to-day basis; co-ordinating the effective use of resource across the transport functions.

Continuously improving operational and financial efficiencies.

Developing and maintaining productive relationships with key customers.

Leading the delivery of effective reporting, including KPI's.

Promoting a positive H&S culture.

Key Skills/Experience:
Exceptional people management skills - a natural leader who can manage, motivate, and inspire the team whilst creating a positive working environment that focuses on delivering excellent service levels.

Experience of working in a fast-paced transport environment, ideally within the FMCG sector or perhaps a pallet network / parcel operation.

Ability to identify opportunities for improved operational performance and the strategic vision to review operational capabilities for seasonal trends and future growth.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate effectively across all levels.

High levels of IT proficiency.
