This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a project or operations background with knowledge of insulation and home improvements to build upon their leadership experience and grow into a high-level role where they can get off the tools and lead a team for a fast-growing company within the Eco industry.
The company is a national retrofit installation business and is aiming to be the fastest growing within the Eco industry, reducing customers' heating costs whilst also reducing carbon emissions. They provide a plethora of services from Loft Installations to Solar Panels and Air Source Heat Pump installations.
In this role you will be responsible for the Insulation department within the company, overseeing a range of activities such as project design/planning, negotiating with suppliers, preparing budgets, overseeing day-to-day operations and all associated engineering activities.
The ideal candidate will have an operations/project management background and will have some previous experience working within the Insulation trade, along with the ability to both lead and work within a team through exceptional communication skills
This is the perfect role for a driven individual who has the desire to progress and learn in a fast-growing company, where they can get off the tools and take upon an office-based role overseeing the company's services and managing a team of hard-working individuals.
The role:
* Managing operational and office-based staff
* Supporting and overseeing the company's projects
* Negotiating with suppliers
* Signing off installations of the team
* Relaying information to the team and to company directors
The Person:
* Relevant trade qualifications such as NVQ, BG/Wetherby
* Previous experience in a management/leadership role
* Highly organised and excellent communication skills
