Meridian Business Support are working with a Midlands based Private Healthcare client who are recruiting for an Operations Manager to oversee their portfolio of Nursing Homes based in Birmingham and surrounding area.

About the role:
- Overseeing a portfolio of 6 Homes (Nursing Home – General Nurse, Elderly Care, Elderly Mental Health Conditions)
- Strong leadership skills and an understanding of the healthcare industry.
- Overseeing all aspects of their organization’s nursing services, including recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management, etc.
- Supervising and evaluating the performance of healthcare staff, including physicians, nurses, and administrative personnel.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Coordinating staffing, scheduling, and payroll activities.
Applicants for this Operation Manager position should meet the following criteria:
- NMC Registered Adult Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) and ideally have completed or are currently completing a recognised management qualification such as Diploma Level 5/The Registered Managers Award
- Have managed more than one home as a Home Manager and/or multi-site experience.
- Must be a car driver with access to own vehicle
- Must be a non smoker
- Ideally lives in the Birmingham and surrounds area.
- From a strong background in elderly care, ideally having previous experience as CQC Registered
- Able to effectively manage budgets and resources, increasing profitability without compromising on care
- Able to lead, develop and inspire both Manager, Clinical and Non-Clinical teams
