Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operations team, ensuring exceptional training and support.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to enhance operational processes.
- Facilitate the growth and efficiency of the team through effective cross-training.
- Manage financial aspects, including cost control and revenue generation.
- Oversee international consignment planning, ensuring adherence to client specifications.
- Handle the full cycle of export and import shipments, including customs entries.
- Monitor outbound movements, manage invoicing, and job costing.
- Maintain effective communication with global offices and partners.
- Achieve company KPIs in Data Quality and PM query resolution.
- Implement client-defined operating procedures, manage transport deviations, and supplier relations.
- Prioritise exceptional customer service and relationship building.
Minimum Requirements:
- Profound operational knowledge in Airfreight, Ocean Freight, and Road freight.
- Advanced ICT skills, particularly in Excel.
- Strong communication skills, professional demeanour, and ability to work under pressure.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and well-organised.
- Flexible working hours during peak periods.
