SLD Pumps & Power now has an opportunity for an Operations Supervisor based at our Erith Depot. The main goal of this role is to support operations within the depot.
This is a fantastic role for an individual with relevant supervisory experience, seeking a new challenge and is looking for a rewarding role, within a fast-paced environment. Ideally the successful individual would have worked within a similar role.
What will I be doing as an Operations Supervisor?
- Ensuring the preparation and maintenance of pumps and generators is consistently held to a high standard and in-keeping with all agreed SLA’s.
- Allocating the daily workload within a small number of direct reports, up-keeping of the depot, ensuring testing regulations are met, placing orders, liaising with clients, alongside other depot administrative duties and reporting.
- Responsible for the Health and Safety of the depot and staff, keeping this to a high standard and also the upkeep of other operational adhoc management duties.
- You will also be able to thrive in a busy, deadline driven environment and be well versed in managing multiple tasks within a growing business.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Demonstrable supervisory and people management experience.
- Experience in working in the Plant Hire industry with technical product knowledge - specifically generators and pumps.
- IT Literate
- Strong time management skills
- Current UK driving licence
