We have an exciting opportunity unusually titled OPERATIONS SYSTEMS COMPLIANCE OFFICER within an Engineering business based in the West Bromwich area. This role centres on ensuring that standard operating procedures and best practice are in place, documented and adhered to within a busy engineering and industrial environment.
It is office based, working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Salary is anticipated to be in the region of GBP25/26k but is entirely negotiable with experience.
The OPERATIONS SYSTEMS COMPLIANCE OFFICER will be primarily responsible for :
- Working closely with the team of directors.
- Ensuring Systems & Procedures within the business are:
- Properly documented
- Circulated & recorded
- Maintained & amended
- Monitored and followed up
- Working with Health & Safety, Quality, Best Working Practice, Sign off & Approval Project Management systems within the business
- Liaising directly with shop floor and site based teams.
In order to succeed as OPERATIONS SYSTEMS COMPLIANCE OFFICER your will need to demosnstrate the following skillsets
- Computer literate
- Strong admin and organisational skills
- Focused & task orientated while able to influence and guide others
- Demanding attention to detail
- Working within multiple projects at the same time
- Working in an engineering, industrial or manufacturing type environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels
- Previous experience of Health & Safety, Quality or documented best practice would be advantageous
This position will ideally suit someone who is experienced in making sure that systems and procedures within an engineering or industrial business are properly communicated, followed and monitored. These may be formal quality, health and safety, industry standard or similar accreditations or simply in house standard operation procedures, checks & balances and record keeping. You may be an administrator, quality technician, H&S officer or engineer; this role could be for you.
