Optical Glazing Technician

An Optical Glazing Technician is required for our busy Glasgow Laboratory. Applicants will receive full training on site.

You will be using our machines to edge ophthalmic lenses into spectacle frames. The role will include;

• Frame tracing shape
• Barcoding jobs into the system
• Manual & automated blocking of lenses
• Lens edging (manual & automated) into frames
• Fitting lenses into spectacle frames
• Repairing spectacle frames

You will be working as part of a team within our Lab.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,850.00 per year
