Optical Practice Manager

M&S Opticians in Wolstanton is a brand new store set to launch in April 2024. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Optical Practice Manager to join this brand new team. As the Optical Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the Optical Practice, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of eyecare.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of optical professionals, including optometrists, audiologist, and support staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork, motivation, and professional development.
Set performance targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to ensure the team meets or exceeds expectations.
Promote a customer-centric approach and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Optical Practice, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Sales and Business Development:
Drive sales and revenue growth by implementing effective sales strategies, promotional activities, and marketing initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs and recommending appropriate eyecare solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technological advancements in the field of optometry.
Collaborate with the regional management team to achieve business objectives and contribute to the overall success of M&S Opticians Wolstanton
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in a managerial role within the optical industry is essential.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Strong business acumen and the ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
Sound knowledge of optometric practices, regulations, and industry trends.
