SalaryTaskmaster Resources Ltd in Huddersfield are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Manager for an Out of school club & Holiday Club based within a large Infant & Junior school in Elland.
Term time hours: Out of School Club 07.15 - 9.00 & 14.45 - 18.15 (26.25 hrs per week)
Holiday hours: Holiday Club: either 7:15am-12:45pm or 12:45pm-6:15pm on a rota basis (26.25 hours per week)
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 3 Deputy Manager for the Out of School and Manager for the Holiday Club to work within our hugely supportive team to maintain and develop our superb learning environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is looking to develop themselves and wants to play an active part in supporting the development of our school. We would be particularly interested to hear from candidates with innovative ideas to further develop our existing provision for our brilliant children.
Essential experience/qualifications
NVQ3 or equivalent childcare
Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding Training
Experience of working with children within the age range of 2-11 years
An understanding of outstanding quality childcare
An understanding of outstanding child development
Good oral and written communication skills
Good organisation skills
Creative & imaginative skills in planning & providing stimulating experiences
Ability to promote positive behaviour
Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
To lead a team during the Holiday Club
Applicants must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS as part of their registration with Taskmaster.
