Outdoors Holidays Operation Assistant

Summary

We are looking for a Holiday Operations Assistant to help care for our campsite and bunkhouse. Day to day, you will support the delivery of an enjoyable outdoor holidays experience for our visitors.

Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we're looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We'd give you as much notice of this as possible.

Contract: Fixed term ends May 2025

Salary: GBP11.64per hour. This is our anticipated salary from 1st April but is subject to final confirmation following the Trust's annual pay review process.

What you'll be doing

In addition to practical tasks such as cleaning and maintenance of both our campsite & bunkhouse offers, your role will also involve face-to-face interactions such as welcome and orientation, guest service, processing online bookings and some Food and Beverage & Retail service from the Campsite shop.

A positive can-do attitude is a must in the varying world of Campsites & Bunkhouses and in return, there is an opportunity to propose, assist or lead on Outdoor activity initiatives provided by the National Trust and Partners.
