Shift Times: 08:00 AM – 20:00 PM Monday to Saturday

Job Summary:
The Band 5Outpatients Staff Nurse at King Edward VII’s Hospital plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care within the outpatient department. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, the incumbent collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients attending the outpatient department.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and patient-centered care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, ensuring understanding of treatment plans and self-management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in outpatient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
