Part-Time - 28 hours
Office bases in Greenford, Acton and West Ealing

Main purpose of role:
To develop a programme of Outreach and awareness raising that will significantly increase the identification of unpaid family carers living or caring in the London Borough of Ealing.To establish a varied range of consultation mechanisms for carers to share their experiences, tell us what would most help them and inform the development of needs-responsive services.To work across the Ealing Carers Partnership and with other external partners to support the team to develop a coordinated and comprehensive range of services that is based on what carers say they need.
The ideal candidate will have:
A good standard of basic education with English and Maths GCSEExperience of organising public events and an awareness of relevant legislative requirements, such as risk assessments and health and safety considerationsExperienced in using all Microsoft Office applications and managing own computer workAn awareness and understanding of the issues affecting unpaid family carers

All postholders will be expected to travel throughout the borough, for which out-of-pocket expenses will be paid. They offer flexible office space in Acton, Greenford and West Ealing – to be discussed at interview.
