Responsibilities
• Supporting vulnerable KS3 students with social and emotional difficulties• Implementing intervention strategies to support vulnerable children• Delivering planned activities and adapting tasks to meet individual needs• Encouraging challenging activities to push for full potential• Providing on-going support and feedback to students• Demonstrating coping methods for struggling learners• Possessing de-escalation techniques (advantageous)• Maintaining a valid Enhanced DBS on the subscription service or obtain one• Completing on-the-job training provided by the school• Working collaboratively with education consultants
Requirements
• Degree or diploma in Child, Youth & Community, Education, Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent• Experience working with vulnerable children with complex SEN needs• Full UK driving license with business insurance• Flexibility and adaptability• Resilience and commitment to making a difference in children's lives
