We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to join Solihull Council as a Personal Assistant to the Assistant Director. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing professional, effective, and efficient secretarial support to the Assistant Director and the broader team. This will initially be a 3 month contract with the potential of this being extended.
Pay: 15.70 Per Hour
Location: Solihull - Hybrid working - 3 days in the office required
Hours: Full time 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri
Duties:
- To help the Assistant Director manage output, work-flow and deadlines
- Ensuring the Assistant Director is prepared for meetings and has everything needed to be in the right place at the right time. The focus being on a paperless approach to meetings where appropriate
- Screening telephone calls, enquiries, requests and complaints, and handling them when appropriate
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant experience in a Personal Assistant or secretarial role within a large organisation.
- Experience of liaising and dealing with a range of stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of office systems and administrative processes
- Experience of facilitating meeting and taking notes
