Personal Assistant to the Managing Director

Salary: £27,820 per annum

Hours: 35 hours a week Monday to Friday

Location: Exeter

We currently have an amazing opportunity for a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director to join our teambased at our office in Aperture, Pynes Hill, Exeter in return you will receive a competitive salary of £27,820 per annum

Hours of work will be 35 hours per week.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Personal Assistant who is methodical, organised and thrives on keeping everyone on schedule. The roles main responsibility is to provide an efficient and proactive support to the Managing Director and his Leadership Team, helping them manage and prioritise their time.

No day is the same here, we are looking for someone who is adaptable to change and who enjoys a fast-paced environment. The Personal Assistant s main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the Managing Director is fully briefed and prepared for all engagements he is involved in.
  • Prioritising workloads, managing activities within an agreed scope and highlighting any urgent requirements.
  • Manage and maintain the Leadership team s diary.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation
  • Preparation of strategic documents and board reports.
  • Creating professional PowerPoint presentations.
  • Organising meetings and events.
  • Taking meeting notes, producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
  • Maintaining and managing files and records.

Skills and experience we are looking for in our Personal Assistant:

Previous experience in a Personal Assistant/Secretarial role

  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • High understanding of confidentiality and discretion
