SalaryWe are now seeking applications for the role of Shift Manager in our Packing Operation in Stranraer. The key purpose of which is to ensure that production targets are met in terms of forecast, quantity, cost, deadlines and quality resulting in 100% customer satisfaction.
You will be one of three such managers, reporting to the Operations Manager, and will work closely with your colleagues and your shift team to meet the site’s objectives. In particular, you will be responsible for managing a range of tasks over the shift pattern including leading a team of people, production planning, preparing shift rotas, production and analysis of reports and proposing and making improvements.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a food packing operation in a similar role or be able to demonstrate the potential to assume this role as a promotion. You should have experience in MS Office and be familiar with production planning tools. Previous knowledge or experience with Redzone would be an advantage. Proactive and dynamic you will also possess the pragmatic approach required in a food packing operation. You must be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving success through people.
