Salary: £12.06 – £15.12 per hour / £24,451 - £30,668 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 39 hours per week,Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm & Friday 8am – 1pm

We are currently recruiting for a Paint Sprayer for a renowned and well-established Aerospace manufacturer on a permanent basis. Founded over 100 years ago, the company have developed & grown every year to where they are now known for the design & manufacture of aerospace components and parts.
As a Paint Sprayer your main responsibility will be to produce a high-quality paint finish to a variety of intricate aerospace components and assemblies.
Within this role you will be;
- Undertaking the application of chromate conversion coatings, paint-stripping, refurbishment and remedial work including hand masking
- Operating low bake curing oven
- Masking to drawing requirements to ensure that correct finish is achieved
- Ensuring rubbing down and surface preparation on refurbishment and remedial work
- Preparing materials ready for paint
- Carrying out viscosity checks
- Quality checking all finished jobs
For this role the successful candidate MUST;
- Have previous experience working with intricate parts
- Be familiar with manual preparation and application of coatings including pre-treatment, primer, undercoat and finish coats.
- Be able to use various two-pack and air-drying paint systems including: High and Low solids epoxy, polyurethane, water-based, acrylic and etch primers.
