The role:

A self-supportive Conveyancing Fee Earner.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Attending upon clients

Dealing with all types of conveyancing transactions from initial instruction to registration to include:

• Registered & unregistered
• Freehold, leasehold, new build & shared ownership
• Re-mortgages, transfers of equity & help to buy
• Land Registry applications
• Opening and creating new files.
• carrying out all work incidental to the progression of conveyancing matters using the Firm's case management system, including but not limited to:
• Issuing first letters.
• Applying for searches and Chancel Checks.
• Using Land Registry Direct.
• Preparing contracts
• Actively progressing the client's matter to conclusion
• Closing files
• Complying with the Firm's various policies and procedures contained in the office manual
• Attracting new clients where possible
• Any other duties that are reasonably asked by the partners.
