Job Title: Paraplanner

Salary: £ 35,000 - £43,000

Location: Leicester

A well-established Financial Planning firm, who provide great flexibility with homeworking with the majority of team working from home 4 days a week. They pride themselves on tailored, specialist Financial Advice, with a full holistic approach for their clients.

They provide Financial Advice across a diverse range of case types including Pensions, Investments, Protection, IHT, Tax & retirement planning. They also have an investment management offering, so this role will be varied and would suit someone who is really looking to utilise their technical knowledge and relationship management skills within an independent firm.

The Role:

This role would suit someone who is comfortable in a paraplanning position but is looking for a more enjoyable, professional environment where they could develop their skillset with assisting the advisors with holistic, tailored recommendations. There is an existing team of paraplanners and you would have some technical professionals around you to collaboratively work together on complex cases.

This role would involve supporting the firms financial planners with technical duties such as; suitability report writing, fact finding, product research, cash flow modelling, risk profiling and being involved with some client meetings.

The Required Skills:

• Level 4 Diploma qualified or significant progress made towards this is essential.
• Experience in providing financial planning support in an IFA or Wealth Management business previously.
• Personable, friendly manner and the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Strong technical knowledge particularly around pensions and investments.
• Good knowledge of the FCA and how a financial services firm operates.
