Parking Enforcement Officer

My client, a Oxford based local authority, seek a Parking Enforcement Officer to start asap!

The role:

 Ensure customers comply with the conditions of parking e.g. though payment of offered payment methods and return by expiry time of tickets. This is done through effective enforcement, ensuring maximisation of the Council’s assets.

 Liaising with the technical car parks team to ensure machine faults are minimised, thus protecting income.

Responsibilities and main duties

 Issue penalties to vehicles in an offence position, utilising any technology provided. As technology evolves it will be expected the post holder will adapt their methods of enforcement accordingly.

 Complete penalties accurately ensuring error rates are minimised.

 Demonstrate high levels of customer service.

 Ability to defuse difficult customers.

Must have full driving licence as will be covering the whole of Oxford

6,30 - 14,30

10.00 - 18.00

13.00 - 21.00

Must be flexible to cover all the above shifts on a rota basis - Weekend and bank holidays are included in the rota 

The successful candidate will have strong face to face customer service skills and experience
