LHH Recruitment Solutions are currently partnering with a global Crawley based business with the recruitment of a Part Qualified Accountant role on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Financial Reporting Manager you will be a key member of the UK finance team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met
- Prepare and post journal entries to reflect accurate financial transactions
- Assist with the preparation and filing of VAT returns to comply with tax regulations.
- Support both the external & internal audit process and provide necessary documentation.
- Review and process employee expenses in compliance with company policies.
- Support the revenue cycle, including contract maintenance, revenue recognition through to cash collection
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and participate in process improvement projects as necessary
Key skills / experience:
- AAT Qualified / ACCA or CIMA Part Qualified
- Month end close experience
- Ideally some knowledge of IFRS / UK GAAP
- Strong systems skills (ideally SAP)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
The role is being recruited on a hybrid basis with a salary up to £38k depending on experience, along with study support and a comprehensive benefits package.
