SalaryOur client is a growing £30m business who are enjoying 50% YOY growth. Due to continued expansion they seek to hire a Part Qualified Accountant. The role will suit a progressive ACA, ACCA or CIMA studier who is looking for a broad role that will compliment their studies. The role will report into the Financial Controller and offer good career progression.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring accurate accounting and reflection of company performance through efficient day to day & month end process.
• Posting of all revenue from sales platforms into Sage, including our own awesomebooks.com website, performing control checks to ensure accuracy of postings.
• Raising of Online & Bulk Wholesale invoices and a small amount of credit control relating to these customers.
• Posting of various overhead accruals, ensuring all costs are accounted for in the correct period.
• Posting of prepayments in addition to maintaining the master prepayment schedule.
• Posting of Intercompany recharges.
• Day to day bank postings and monthly reconciliation with FC.
• Payroll postings, accruals and reconciliations, liaising with external payroll provider when needed.
• Preparing and filing monthly/quarterly VAT for various Group companies.
• Maintaining Fixed Asset schedule and booking depreciation on a monthly basis.
• Support the Group FC & FD on other ad hoc projects as required
A salary of £35,000-£40,000 plus study support and 10% bonus.
