Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Process invoices, expense claims, and payments in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficient in relevant accounting software (e.g., Sage, Focus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in an accounts role, preferably in the real estate sector.
- A degree or relevant qualification in finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
