Part-time Accounts Receivable Executive - Residential Property- OUR CLIENT are a Global Real Estate Development and Investment company with an impressive UK Asset Portfolio, including high end, prime and super prime developments. They are bringing the property accounting functions in house and are looking for Part-time Accounts Receivable Executiveon part time basis to join their growing finance team.

THE ROLE: The main purpose of the Part-time Accounts Receivable Executiverole is to support the Finance Manager by taking responsibility of the sales ledger from assisting the management team with on-boarding new tenants, raising charges through to the collecting of the debt including heating and cooling recharges. The responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the sales ledger from assisting the property management team with on boarding new tenants, raising charges through to the collection of the debt.
• Invoicing rent, service charges, insurances, direct recovery charges and non-tenant charges such as inter-company management fees.

• Preparing service charge reconciliations, obtaining PM team approvals and raising the charges/credits.
• Reconciling service charge year end entries in the general ledger.
• Managing and controlling the collection of all monies due liaising with tenants and the PM team as appropriate.
• Developing and maintaining an effective arrears reporting process and prepare regular aged debtor reports.
• Invoicing and reconciling electricity recharges.
• Ensuring tenant deposits are recorded correctly.
• Reconciling bank statements and ensuring all items are followed up on.
• Assisting the PM team with onboarding new tenants.
• Assisting the management team with completions of incoming/outgoing tenants and new/sold properties.
• Liaising with general managers to ensure all updates are processed in a timely and accurate manner.

THE PERSON REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS required for the Part-time Accounts Receivable Executiveare:

• Experience of Accounts Receivable / Sales ledger senior position, within the property industry.
• Knowledge of receivable/collection process in respect of commercial or residential Real Estate.

• Knowledge of a property system such as MRI / YARDI / TRAMPS or similar.

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• High level of numeracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately internally and with residents directly.
