Working in a Private Family Home in Bewdley.
We are looking for a fun and compassionate Complex Needs Activities support Worker to join our team.
Supporting a very funny, charming, life loving 19 year old man with cerebral palsy, who is a full time wheelchair user. The individual has an inhouse college routine where you will be working alongside a TA during term time.
Daily activities include: Swimming, rebound therapy, physio sessions, gardening, cooking and local visits to garden centres, cafes and shops.
Experience with hoisting would be an advantage. Assistance is required for personal care needs and lunch.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead TA Support Worker to deliver a college in-house curriculum tailored to the students needs.
- Support with personal care needs.
- Encourage independence with daily living.
- Light cleaning duties and completing documentation will be part of the role.
Requirements:
Experience working with individuals with complex needs specifically cerebral palsy and mobility challenges
Proficiency in using tracking hoist systems and willing to provide personal car
Capability to prepare pre-made meals and assist with feeding
Strong communication skills and empathy.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay rate:
- £12.00 per hour starting rate
Essential Experience:
- Special education: 1 years
- Full Driving Licence
