Administrator
Working for a small, vibrant, niche, construction consultancy-based company near Escrick, a new position has been created for a Part time, temporary to permanentAdministrator to take the stress the stress and more menial administrative tasks away from the Directors and Associate Directors. The company is growing and the team currently are all working at full capacity which is why this role has become available.
This family run business provides an attentive, client centred service on commercial, residential and industrial developments; supplying impartial informative advice, testing and solutions to acoustic, environmental and health and safety issues.
A typical week would involve being in the office most days to ensure there is somebody to answer the phone, respond to emails and generally become an integral part of the team.
Tasks for the Administrator include:
- Booking accommodation for members of staff, proof-reading reports for spelling, punctuation and grammar.
- Sending out information to clients and ensuring this is chased up
- Answering the telephone, taking down messages.
- General administrative work in an office environment.
You will need to have an eye for detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A sense of fun and ability to make clients feel at ease over the phone and email is essential! You will need to be computer literate and enjoy data processing. Training will be provided on the more technical aspects of the role but it's nothing too high level.
Total hours would be in the region of 25 hours, to increase if necessary. Typically, five hours per day - or to fit in around a school run.
Salary: £22k pro rat'd
