Part Time Administrator (12 month fixed term contract) - Bury St Edmunds
We are currently seeking a Part Time Administrator on a 12 month fixed term contract for our client based in Bury St Edmunds!
Salary: £12.50-£13.00
Hours: 09:00am-15:00pm
Job responsibilities:
- Facilitate the gathering and organization of paperwork for UK/EU Customs Clearance procedures.
- Provide pricing quotations to clients on behalf of the Transport Department.
- Coordinate with European Customs Agents to ensure adherence to appropriate import/export protocols.
- Execute various administrative tasks including invoicing, spreadsheet management, and data entry.
- Serve as a central point of communication between the Transport and Operations Departments, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and import/export documentation is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues
