Part Time - Bookkeeper

You will need a flexible approach to get involved in all aspects of the accounts, managing debtors and creditors, business facing with the bank and presentation of financial reports to the Directors. Good interpersonal and communications skills: able to handle and resolve queries with suppliers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Bookkeeper to join a independent wholesale and distribution business in Bristol. As the company Bookkeeper you will be responsible for managing the accounts up to and including international payments, cash collection, month end trial balance, day to day transactions and payroll.
Main Responsibilities include
Preparation of accounts up to and including month end trial balance using Xero.
Maintaining the purchase ledger and coding / inputting invoices.
Balance purchase ledgers from all international transactions.
Bank reconciliations, month end reporting on debits and credits.
Processing the monthly payroll for all full-time and part-time employees.
PAYE returns and payments.
Calculation of VAT quarterly including PVA accounting.
Responsibility for credit control, ensuring suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed terms.
Processing of month end Management Accounts, prepayment and accrual journals.
