SalaryThe Burford Recruitment Company are working on behalf of a well-established firm who are looking for an experienced and capable Bookkeeper/PA to join their friendly small team.
In this busy and varied role, you will work closely with the Director and contractors to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. You will support in administrative and clerical tasks, maintaining a strong focus on quality, to deliver outstanding results for the company’s clients.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Reconciliation of the bank and credit cards
- Posting all bank expenditure and banking
- Posting all purchase and sale invoices.
- Regularly reviewing Debtors & Creditors
- Monthly/quarterly management accounts
- Liasing with suppliers and customers
- Communicating with accountant as needed.
- Monthly payroll information, sent to external accountants.
- Quarterly VAT return, including reverse charge VAT.
- Monthly CIS submissions.
- General administrative tasks for the Director
Additional information:
- Salary £30-32k Pro rata - negotiable depending on experience.
- 25 paid days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays.

- Hours (approx) 21hrs a week over 3-5 days.
- Flexible start and finish times to be agreed.
