We are looking for a person who has experience of working as a Finance administrator / bookkeeper, is advanced in bookkeeping software (SAGE) and understands of tax regulations and filing requirements.
It is a PART-TIME (2-4 hours per day) job for a freelancer, available to work during office hours, ideally living in Cheltenham / Gloucester area (work-from-home).
Responsibilities:
- Receive and checking claims
- Verify calculations and inputting all invoices into the accounts system
- Send copies of claim forms with payment confirmation
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Maintain the electronic filing
- Set up new clients
- Process invoices
- Chase up outstanding debts
- Check VAT has been included on invoices
- Enter all the transaction to SAGE
- Bank Reconciliation
- Receive & Verify all the invoices and Expenses paid by credit card
- Enter all the transaction for credit card to SAGE
- Credit Card Reconciliation
- Process VAT return
- Deal with refund (reconcile the deposits/ expenses and credit funds)
- Assist with Accounts firm for Preparation (Prepare all the documents & Statements where necessary)
- Daily response to emails
