Part-Time Credit Controller/Accounts Administration

Ringwood - Hampshire GBP25,000 pro rata + bonus

Vardey Recruitment is supporting the recruitment of a part-time credit control / accounts admin assistant to support the credit control supervisor on a part-time basis. We are recruiting for a support to the Credit Controller to assist with the credit control process to include the chasing of outstanding invoices. The Credit Control job works in a friendly, stable and long standing team working closely with the Credit Supervisor. This part-time credit control role will support the debt recovery using your superb communication and organisational skills! The credit controller job would suit someone looking for an interactive busy job based on a part-time basis.

Part-Time Hours - circa 25 hours per week 4 or 5 days in the week

Part-Time Accounts/Credit Control Job duties:

• Receiving and processing of customer payments and allocation onto Excel and Accounts system
• Ensuring bacs and credit card payments are added to Excel ensuring totals balance
• Building customer relationships using your excellent rapport building skills
• Assisting with the credit control duties via phone initially with follow up and email
• Monitoring and actioning the aged debtors list
• Sending out copy invoices
• Dealing with customer queries
• Ad hoc administration duties

Requirements for the Part-Time Credit Control/Accounts Admin role

• Ideally a credit control / accounts specialist or an office administrator ideally with some experience of chasing debt or a great telephone manner able to build rapport with clients.
• Ideally someone numerate with excellent communication skills
• Ability to pick up systems quickly
• Strong MS office Excel, Word, strong IT skills
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task
• Able to build and maintain and long-term relationships
• Highly organised
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to pay attention to detail
