Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Digital Content Assistant for a temporary assignment to work for a busy charitable organisation based in Stevenage.

This is temp for approx. 6 weeks with a view to going onto a fixed term contract with the company for 6 months.

Working hours: 30 hours a week spread over 4 days - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - all 9.00am to 5.15pm. This can be 100% office based or hybrid - 3 days in the office and 1 day working from home.

This role sits within the Marketing Department and will be to provide support to the Communications Team by delivering social media, email and website content.

Main responsibilities of a Digital Content Assistant:

  • Using content captions provided by the team for social media posts - templates are provided.
  • Schedule social media posts across multiple platforms
  • Keeping content up to date
  • Building emails from approved content and templates using social Mail Chimp and Pardot
  • Keeping mailing lists updated
  • Uploading blogs onto the company website
  • Using Google Analytics to produce reports or the performance of the website and marketing campaigns.
  • Plus other ad hoc work when required

Person Specification for a Digital Content Assistant:

  • Have a least 1 years' experience in a similar role - showing commitment and passion for digital marketing.
  • Confident user of IT - proficient in Google and Microsoft Office .
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Approachable friendly personality.
