Part-Time Hourly Paid Lecturer - Counselling

Due to growth within the department we have exciting opportunities for flexible and dedicated tutors to join our team. We are a beacon centre for SEG, delivering Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills, Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies and the Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and have a number of sessional roles available both during the day and on an evening. In the role of Counselling Lecturer, you’ll work from Pioneer Higher Skills Centre in Dewsbury and our Huddersfield centre. Your focus will be leading on Level 2 and 3 Counselling courses with some delivery in the community. We are keen to hear from people who have the skills to teach counselling to adult learners. If you are passionate about training counsellors and can engage and inspire adults by bringing counselling to life with enthusiasm, then we would love to hear from you. If you are a qualified counsellor thinking about stepping in to teaching, we would also welcome your application. We are committed to supporting new tutors to learn and develop. You’ll need to be a practising counsellor with a Therapeutic counselling qualification at level 4 or above and ideally have a L5 teaching qualification and demonstrable experience. It’s important that you’re able to lead and inspire others through change, communicate effectively, use innovation within course delivery and engage with young people and adults.
