Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a specialist medical company in the recruitment of a Part-time HR Officer.
Based at their offices in Chesterfield, you will work closely with the HR Support Team, and the Head of Support Office. The HR team provide HR support to over 1500 colleagues throughout the company.
Key duties:
- Responding to HR-related inquiries and providing initial guidance across all departments on matters such as performance, disciplinary actions, grievances, appeals, and health and well-being.
- Supporting the management with HR cases and managing own caseload.
- Contributing to the review and updating of all policies in the HR area.
- Offering support and advice to all colleagues, ensuring they feel supported whenever it is needed.
- Ensuring we are up to date with the latest Employment law changes.
- Assisting employees and managers in welfare, performance management and capability procedures.
- Liaising with the management of the company and external parties such as our employment lawyers.
- Managing the HR email inbox and providing a response to all queries raised.
- Administrative duties to ensure our HR system is up to date, letters/minutes are done where necessary, and timelines are kept where needed.
We are ideally looking for someone who is CIPD qualified or is working towards their qualification. It is important that you have previous experience working in a similar role and that you have the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks.
The successful candidate must be able to drive as this role will involve visiting other sites in the company if required.
