We’re currently recruiting for a Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator to join our client in Congleton, on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have previous administration experience, preferably coordinating contractors in a fast-paced industry.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Use of XLS, Word, Power point, Q Pulse (Training provided)
- Ensure that contractor documentation is up to date and in the system. Responsible for ensuring all contractors relevant documentation is received.
- Keep waste records up to date in Q pulse - scanning waste transfer notes.
- Keep HSE boards and HSE poster boards up to date.
- Update risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work, training material (type changes to documents and update in Q pulse)
- Scanning of all records into Q Pulse database system.
- Developing (inputting) training events in Q Pulse database system.
- Coordinating the training plan for all required statutory training i.e Fork Lift Truck, first aid etc, booking and adding certificates into the training system.
- Coordinating toolbox talk training records into Q pulse.
- Coordinating HSE Observations in Q Pulse - monitoring open observations and closing when actioned.
- Liaising with PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) supplier, ensuring PPE is kept stocked, including the ordering of stock as and when required.
- Ensure Stock of first aid equipment is maintained and perform stock level checks.
- Efacs - Complete purchase requisitions and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers.
- Chase up orders with suppliers as and when necessary.
- Coordinate and Maintain stock levels of Office hot drinks consumables.
- Coordinate the resolution of vending machine problems and re-imbursements for staff.
- Order and coordinate workwear, including safety footwear/ safety eyewear for visitors.
- Coordinate lockers and locker keys and issue as required.
- Manage and issue of locker keys and gate fobs.
- Update visitor details on TV screen, updating details as required.
Experience & Knowledge
- Experienced administrator with a min 5 years’ experience (essential)
- Knowledge and experience of using/updating databases (essential)
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft IT packages Word/Excel/Outlook (essential)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (essential)

Hours:
9am - 4pm Monday to Thursday (part-time)
