Job Outline
As a Part-time Meeting & Events Sales Coordinator, you will play a vital role in responding to enquiries, sending proposals, coordinating events, and supporting day-to-day event operations. Your proactive approach, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor will contribute to the success of our events.
Responsibilities
- Sales: Handle incoming event enquiries, conduct site visits, and provide high-quality written proposals. Maintain accurate booking records and attend networking events to build client relationships.
- Finance: Ensure prompt collection and accurate recording of event payments.
- Client Liaison and Operations: Meet and greet clients, build strong relationships, plan and organise event details, and communicate effectively with relevant departments. Support event operations as needed.
- Person Specification: Possess excellent people skills, remain calm under pressure, and demonstrate negotiation skills. Proficiency in IT, social media, and numeracy is desired, along with self-motivation and a willingness to learn.
Hours of Work
The basic working week is 24 hours, preferably spread across 3 to 4 days on-site, generally starting at 8:00 am. Flexibility in working hours and occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Salary & Benefits
- Part-time annual salary of GBP16,411
- 28 days of holiday including bank holidays (pro-rata), with additional accrual based on years worked
