The Opportunity
What you will do
- Assist in all payroll administrative tasks
- Gathers and tracks all payroll changes from HR
- Support payroll manager with all tasks related to running the monthly payroll, including reconciliation and submission of pension deduction data to the Company's pension provider.
- Process court orders, mortgage references, Child Support Agency questionnaires and statutory payments such as maternity, paternity, parental leave and SSP.
- Keep Payments & deductions spreadsheet up to date and support the annual year end process including P11ds and PSA
- Maintain and review the payroll inboxes, dealing with or escalating colleague queries in a timely and professional manner
- Any other ad hoc requests as and when required
What you will need
- Previous payroll experience essential
- Intermediate Excel skills essential, advanced preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Experience and confidence handling high volume complex payrolls and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
