MCS Group is delighted to partner with an organisation based in Belfast to recruit for a Part Time Purchase ledger on a permament basis.
This role will be 24 hours per week
This role is responsible for providing accounts support for the shared services function. You will work across all companies and with duties covering all aspects of the function, this allows for a very varied and diverse role within the group.
You will work alongside the Group Assistant Accountant and general duties will involve:
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Processing and matching invoices to the purchase order and posting to the system.
- Processing overhead invoices to appropriate companies and codes.
- Reconciling supplier statements. Reconciling GRNs
- Dealing with supplier queries.
- Prepare fortnightly payment runs for allocated companies.
- Ensure all adequate controls are maintained around the invoice posting and payment process, including intercompany.
- Liaise with purchasing teams across the Group.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers.
- Assist in month end close of all Purchase Ledgers.
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by management.
What You Need to Succeed?
- 1 years experience in Purchase Ledger
- Excellent IT skills – especially Excel
- Commercial acumen
- Positive attitude
