We are a leading construction company based in Belfast, and we are looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Purchase Ledger to join our team.
You will be responsible for:
- Processing purchase invoices and matching them with purchase orders and delivery notes
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with CIS regulations and filing returns - Training can be provided
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
- Good knowledge of accounting software, such as Sage or Xero
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
What you'll get in return:
This is a permanent, full-time role, offering a competitive salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also benefit from a friendly and supportive work environment, pension scheme, and 30 days of annual leave.
