The Employer is: DISABILITY ACTION. Main Purpose of the job: Disability Action is delighted to offer this opportunity under the JobStart Scheme, funded by the Department for Communities. We are looking for an Administration Assistant to work within our Headquarters to provide administration support for events planning, co-ordinating room bookings, attendees, catering and support services arrangements (such as accessibility needs, sign language and interpreter services). You will prepare and collate briefings, notes, presentations and feedback using a range of formats and tools to meet individual and organisation needs. You will also help to keep team records up to date and support colleagues in their day-to-day activities on and offsite. .

Knowledge and skills in the use of Office 365 and related tools such as excel, word, calendar management etc.Demonstrable problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and communication skills, alongside the need for accuracy and attention to detail.Time management and team working skills.Evidence of working on own initiative and with others to deliver and agreed objective or goal.Be self-motivated with the ability to manage work time effectively.Be a person with a disability, with knowledge and understanding of the issues and barriers for disabled people in work and society.
