Job description

Reed HR are delighted to be supporting a public body as they look for a HR Administrator to join their HR team.

This is a temporary assignment initially for 3-6 months with the possibility of extension. If you 2 years+ experience in the HR sector then this could be a great opportunity with an employer of choice. Based in central Belfast they are conveniently located close to core transport hubs.

About the Role

  • Create and maintain appropriate filing systems, both manual and electronic to effectively manage all information within the section including archiving
  • Assist the HR Team by providing HR administrative support for the day-to-day operational needs of the team and wider organisation.
  • Upload information to the Electronic Records Management System. Ensuring all records are kept and maintained in line with organisational policies.
  • Assist the HR Team with monitoring and recording Section 55 and section 75 activities achieved in reporting year.
  • Assist the HR Team in developing standard documentation for all employees of the body regarding their employment and development.
  • Produce and format reports, papers, proposals, letters, memos or charts using Word, Excel or Power point as required following organisation guidelines.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by providing administrative support to both the HR team and the hiring Managers, liaising with agencies and maintaining recruitment platforms such as GetGot.
  • Assist in the induction and onboarding of new staff by ensuring all required documentation has been provided and verified.

???????About You

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a similar role in a Human Resources function within the public, private, voluntary or community sectors.
  • Experience in administering effective HR processes.
  • Excellent IT Skills, including use of ICT packages i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Experience in the use of an HR computer management system e.g. PAMS, GetGot.
  • Experience of end to end recruitment campaigns
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines including completing tasks and projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Previous experience in dealing with issues of confidentiality, data protection & information security awareness.
