Part-Time Receptionist: Friendly Hotel & Wedding Venue

Want to enjoy coming to work? We are looking to employ a hotel receptionist to join our friendly team.

Donington Park Farmhouse is an award-winning Barn Wedding Venue and Hotel. An enjoyable place to work, our reception team are the hub of the hotel and provide a warm welcome of our guests. They are crucial to the successful day to day activity of the venue.

Reception works with all departments to ensure the smooth running of the site between the Hotel, Housekeeping, Caravan park, Wedding Barn. You will work closely with our brilliant team of wedding co-ordinators.

What the job includes –

Welcoming and checking guests in/out with our friendly service

• Answering calls and taking telephone reservations
• Handling and resolving queries
• Daily banking reconciliation
• Ensuring all charges are posted to guests bills
• Full understanding of our business and systems
• Co-ordinating housekeeping teams
• Supporting your brilliant colleagues, especially in the events office
• Serving drinks at the small hotel bar when required
• Helping with evening food service when required

What we’re looking for –

24 hours per week over 3 or 4 days on a rota (including weekends and bank holidays) The successful applicant will be a good allrounder with a proactive approach. Being able to multitask is essential!

• Variable shift times; mornings and evenings (if you have commitments on some days we’re happy to try to accommodate).
• Hospitality experience invaluable, but not required and full training given.
• Computer literacy
• Own vehicle essential due to location – free on site parking
