Our client is a local charity who provides support to children with special educational needs and they are looking for a compassionate and efficient HR / Recruitment Assistant to help recruit and on-board new staff members for the summer season.
The role is based in Woking town centre and is part-time (initially 2 days a week) with flexibility on the days. It is an inital 3 month contract with a view to being extended.
The salary is up to £15.00 p.h dependant on experience.
Key Duties:
- Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job adverts, screening applications, and scheduling interviews
- Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and orientations are conducted smoothly.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of all recruitment and onboarding activities, updating databases and filing systems.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for candidates and new hires, providing information and support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the HR team and other departments to ensure staffing needs are met for the summer season.
Key Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in HR, recruitment, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Understanding: A genuine interest in supporting SEN children and an understanding of their unique needs.
