Hours: part-Time Variable

Salary: £20.71 per hour* (inclusive of holiday pay). Plus benefits including a generous Occupational Pension Scheme

  • the base hourly rate is £17.70 per hour, plus holiday pay, which gives an approximate hourly rate of £20.71 per hour

About the Role
Are you a qualified and experienced Electrical Installation and Maintenance electrician? Are you at a stage in your career where you would like pass on your skills and knowledge to both new staff and apprentices? Would you like to help our apprentices achieve their qualifications by assessing their knowledge, skills, and behaviours in Apprentice portfolios, ensuring standardised quality across the division?

We need someone who can communicate and work closely with both employers and college staff in supporting a new generation of future electricians. You will need to be organised and good at planning, tracking and monitoring apprenticeship progress in the workplace and help to support the apprentice to build their portfolio and achieve their qualifications.

You will be an Ambassador of the College involved in promoting the College as a leading training provider for Electrical Installation and Maintenance apprenticeship qualifications.

Training and Qualifications
Our experienced team of staff will guide you through the role and support you as you build up your knowledge and experience of the Apprenticeship Standard. You will need to have relevant Electrical qualifications- (time served NVQ, 18th Edition AM2 Assessing and Verifying Qualifications).

Important Notices

1. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act
