Reed are working with a fantastic organisation in Norwich who are passionate about learning and development, recruiting for the position of Participation Evaluation Manager, on a 1 year Fixed Term Contract basis. There could be scope for other opportunities following this contract within the organisation.
This position plays a key part in forming and evaluating the company objectives and delivery of it's Participation plan. You will have significant opportunity to design and implement new ideas for the participation, evidence and evaluation processes for students, from disadvantaged backgrounds to others across the whole student lifecycle, to meet new regulations and create continual improvements for future success.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Management Team to provide evidence and insight for the design and implementation of strategy.
• Manage a mixed methodology approach
• Ensurethe company takes an evidence-based approach to address risks to equality of opportunity.
• Provide an impartial and constructively critical full evidence and evaluation service
• Manage the implementation of Strategy, including setting and managing research streams, developing and adapting the strategy and approach to reflect changing priorities
• Development & tracking of KPI’s
• Building of an evidence base including reporting and proposing actions
• Interpret and advise the Team of trends in research, policy developments and competitors’ initiatives, identify opportunities and risks
• Manage approaches to monitor and track performance gaps, make recommendations for improved inclusive practice or new initiatives
• Manage the proportionate design and implementation of evaluation approaches including sourcing and using both qualitative and quantitative data, monitor progress over time and measure that objectives are delivered.
• Act as the key contact for the Evaluation Framework network
• Support the Team in offering informed and expert professional advice, guidance and reports to staff.
• Oversee a bi-monthly Evidence and Evaluation team e-bulletin to ensure staff are up to date with initiatives

Experience and Skills
• Experience of working in a similar role within Evaluation
• Results driven and proactive self-starter
• Leadership experience/ qualities, oversee work, delegate and ensure projects are complete within deadlines, motivating and inspiring the team (2 members- Evidence officer and Project Officer)
• Passionate about making a difference- understands importance of inclusion and accessibility
• Exceptional communication skills and relationship management at all levels
• Experience designing, managing and implementing projects
• Strong data management, research and reporting skills
• Strong use of initiative, inquisitive and thinks outside the box, able to conduct market research
• Excellent presentation and report writing skills
• Experience designing and implementing strategy
• Knowledge and adherence to GDPR
Package
• Salary of £36,000-£38,500
