This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a flexible and high-profile team working closely with stakeholders within the council and the multi-agency partnership. You will play a key role providing administration support for the Children, Lifelong Learning and Families (CLLF) directorate and Merton Safeguarding Children Partnership (MSCP) in the interest of securing positive outcomes for all Merton children, young people and their families.
You will have an interesting and varied workload, providing support for partnership work, including scheduling and minute taking of senior decision-making meetings, administration of the MSCP training programme, financial management and dealing with enquiries.
You must be able to provide flexible business support, be a team player and have strong administrative and IT skills, including the ability to take high quality minutes. You will need to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and have awareness of how to handle sensitive information.
This is a part-time (2 days per week) fixed-term role until January 2025, with the opportunity for secondment for internal candidates.
